Bridal Shower Afternoon Tea

I made petit fours, cupcakes, and mini cakes with buttercream frosting.  I placed the cupcakes in the teacups and sprinkle little pearls on the frosting.  The afternoon tea was fun.  We also enjoyed strawberry chicken salad with almonds and a variety of tasty tea breads.  The teas on the menu were Irish Premium Breakfast Tea, Youthberry/Orange Blossom White Tea (iced),  Tranquil Dreams (lavender) Tea,  Organic Wild Strawberry White Tea,  and Jasmine Green Blooming Tea.

Loose leaf teas are in front of the tea pots.
On the teapot is a tag with the name of the tea.

Tea cookies and cupcakes.

Jasmine Green Blooming Tea makes a pretty flower.

Banana bread and strawberries

The mason jar center pieces!
Very simple to make and pretty.  All you need is glass pebbles, floating candles, mason jars ( I used three different sizes) and raffia.

Aloha Card!

This aloha thank you card is a basic card that is fun to stamp and to receive.  The bright color remind me of the Hawaiian islands.  To stamp this cared, I the smaller flower over and over in different colors in random patterns.  I like going over the paper because it give it a cool look.  Then I stamped the four big flowers in the in a zig zag pattern.  I match layering paper and adhered them together.

Coconut Vanilla Cake

This is a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.  It is topped with coconut.  I made this for my mom's birthday.  It was yummy.  I used a Demarle flower baking mold to back the cake and it came out so easy without having to flour the pan.
For the candles, I bought the Wilton's birthday candle with the matching flame color.  When lit, the flame of the candles were the color of the candle.  This added a nice touch to the white cake.  Of course, the best part was eating this cake!

Stamped Card Using Watercoloring....

This "chair card" is first stamped with a chocolate brown color ink.  Then, I used watercolor crayons to fill in the color.  Taking a blending pen, I gave it the watercolor look.  I love Stampin' UP! products and used them for this card.
